Hi my name is Luna Angel (you can call me either). I am a Black Latino Non-Binary Queer (a white man’s worst nightmare). I go by all pronouns just don’t ever call me a man. I am an Aquarius Sun, Leo Moon, and Cancer Rising. I’ve always considered myself an artist ever since I was a kid. I’ve always been constantly creating. In recent years I’ve found I have an act for making crystal jewelry. I made it into a business for a couple of years but found that way too exhausting. So now my jewelry is not made with the intention of retail but rather works of art (don’t worry you can still reach out if you want one).

I’ve also always been a writer and by writer I mean someone who has dozens of diaries and writes poetry in their spare time. I have an interesting life and perspective and people I’ve shown my work to really enjoyed it. So I’ve decided to publish my work for the world to see. Super scary but life is all about risks!

My Story

I started La Luna Nino back in 2019. I walked into the craft store and felt my intuition tell me to buy supplies and that night I created over 10 pieces. From there I have created my own website (twice lol) attended numerous markets in San Antonio, Austin, and Houston! It’s small progress but La Luna Nino is a Capricorn rising lol. Right before I turned 25 I decided to end the business aspect of La Luna Nino and use it as my artist brand name.

Where I could create art of any sort and have it under one name. The name came to me in during my last semester of college with the help of my best friend. Being a Cancer rising I connect very strongly to the moon and wanted that connection to transfer over in the name. I consider myself a child of the stars because of the way I shine. Which in turns makes my art shine because I use that light to create. I believe we are beings of light and it is up to let it out for the world to see if we choose.
